Meet Connor Park

My name is Connor Park and I have worked in education for nearly a decade. I have spent the past three years in the classroom teaching middle and high school math, as well as tutoring students after school. Prior to that I spent several years as a full-time tutor helping students with their coursework and preparing them for AP, SAT, and ACT exams.

I attended the University of Southern California and graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Biochemistry in 2016.

As a teacher I focus on guiding students to core conceptual understanding before pushing them toward deeper applications. I strive to alleviate student stress and anxiety by remaining encouraging and bringing a sense of humor to the learning process.

Families interested in booking a bulk set of sessions are welcome to reach out — a discount can be offered for longer-term commitments.

Session Extensions — If additional time is needed, extensions may be accommodated subject to schedule availability. Minimum 30-minute extension, billed in half-hour increments.

What to Expect

    Payment prior to session. Session payments are due before the session begins.
  • 02
    24-hour cancellation notice. Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session.
  • 03
    Share materials ahead of time when possible. Emailing or uploading your materials before a session helps us use every minute efficiently. You're also welcome to send a general list of topics you'd like to cover — this gives me time to prepare my own materials and tailor the session to your needs.
  • 04
    Sessions include a 5-minute wrap-up. Each booked session includes approximately 5 minutes of wrap-up and transition time (e.g., a 60-minute session = ~55 minutes of instruction; a 90-minute session = ~85 minutes).
    This time is used to write progress notes and identify areas for growth — so that each future session builds on the last.
  • 05
    Group sessions: equal attention is the goal, not the guarantee. Group sessions are structured to give equal attention to each student, but minor variations are inevitable. Students in group sessions are encouraged to come with questions they have in common to make the most of the shared format.
